Getting Started
1. How long does implementation really take?
Most customers are fully operational within 1-3 days. Day one covers company setup, user creation, and trade-specific template activation (4 hours). Day two handles data migration—importing customers, vendors, and active projects via Excel or QuickBooks sync (6 hours). Day three completes team training and go-live (4 hours). This isn't marketing speak: our onboarding is designed for self-service with guided wizards, and we've eliminated the consultant-heavy implementations that plague competitors.
2. Do I need technical expertise to set up Sitewise?
No. Sitewise is designed for self-service setup. When you select your trade (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.), the system automatically configures relevant templates, workflows, and forms. Our setup wizard guides you through each step with video tutorials and contextual help. No IT department or consultants required.
3. Can I import my existing data?
Yes. We provide Excel templates for importing customers, vendors, active projects, and inventory items. If you're using QuickBooks Online, we offer direct two-way sync that pulls in your existing customer and vendor data automatically. Most data migrations take 2-4 hours.
4. What training is provided?
All plans include access to our knowledge base, video tutorial library, and live webinars. Professional and Enterprise plans include live training sessions tailored to your role—separate tracks for owners, project managers, and field teams. Enterprise plans include custom on-site training options.
Features
1. Does the mobile app work offline?
Yes—full offline capability is core to Sitewise, not an afterthought. Field technicians can complete work orders, track time with GPS, capture photos, get customer signatures, and log material usage with zero connectivity. Everything syncs automatically when they're back online. We built this because competitor mobile apps consistently fail in real field conditions.
2. How does real-time job costing work?
Sitewise automatically aggregates costs from three sources in real-time: materials (from purchase orders and vendor bills), labor (from timesheets), and overhead (from expense reports). As your team works, the job costing dashboard updates automatically, showing planned vs. actual costs, profit margin, and budget variance. You'll know if a job is going sideways while there's still time to adjust.
3. Can Sitewise handle both service calls and construction projects?
Yes. Unlike ServiceTitan (service-focused) or Procore (project-focused), Sitewise handles both in one integrated system. Manage recurring service calls, emergency dispatch, and multi-phase construction projects—all with unified job costing, scheduling, and customer management.
4. Does Sitewise integrate with QuickBooks?
Yes. We offer two-way sync with QuickBooks Online. Customers, vendors, invoices, and payments sync automatically. Job cost data flows directly so your bookkeeper sees project-level P&L without manual exports. Unlike competitors with "highly unreliable" QuickBooks sync (their users' words), we built our integration specifically for reliability.
5. What reporting is available?
Standard reports include job cost summaries, project P&L, budget variance, WIP (work in progress), cash flow by project, team utilization, and equipment usage. Professional and Enterprise plans include custom report builders and scheduled report delivery. All reports export to PDF and Excel.
Pricing & Billing
1. Is there really no setup fee?
Correct. $0 to start. No implementation fees, no onboarding charges, no hidden costs. You pay only your monthly subscription. Compare that to ServiceTitan's $20,000-$50,000+ setup fees or Procore's consultant-heavy implementations.
2. What's included in the free trial?
Full access to Professional plan features for 30 days. Create real projects, import your data, train your team—everything works. No credit card required to start. If you decide to subscribe, your data and configuration stay intact.
3. Can I change plans later?
Absolutely. Upgrade anytime and your new features activate immediately. Downgrade at the end of any billing period. We pro-rate everything fairly—no gotchas.
4. What's your cancellation policy?
Cancel anytime. No long-term contracts, no cancellation fees. If you cancel, your data is available for export for 90 days. We also offer a 60-day money-back guarantee after you subscribe—if Sitewise isn't right for you, we'll refund your payment.
5. Do you offer discounts?
Yes. Annual billing saves 15% (10.6 months for the price of 12). Two-year commitments save 20%. We also offer special pricing for nonprofits and early adopters. Volume discounts available for larger teams—contact sales.

Switching from Other Software
1. I'm using ServiceTitan. How hard is it to switch?
Easier than you'd think. Export your customer and project data from ServiceTitan (they're required to provide this). Our team helps you map and import the data—typically completed in one day. Most ServiceTitan refugees are fully operational on Sitewise within a week, compared to the 6-12 months they spent implementing ServiceTitan initially.
2. Can I run Sitewise alongside my current software during transition?
Yes. We recommend parallel operation for 1-2 weeks. Enter new jobs in Sitewise while completing existing work in your old system. This eliminates risk and gives your team time to get comfortable before fully switching.
3. What if Sitewise is missing a feature I need?
Tell us. We're actively developing based on customer feedback. Early adopters get direct access to our product team. Many features were built specifically because a contractor asked for them. If it's something we can't accommodate, we'll be honest about it so you can make an informed decision.
4. Will my team actually adopt it?
Adoption is our focus. The mobile app is intuitive—field teams typically prefer it within the first week because it's faster than paper. Role-based training ensures everyone learns what they need, not everything. And because you're live in days instead of months, the system proves its value before skepticism sets in.
